About Ralph Spooner

Product Development Engineer with experience mostly in the automotive interior manufacturing settings. The products developed are both in current autos and concept designs shown at The North American International Auto Show. Creativity, Engineering and process knowledge are combined to create feasible concepts through launch and production with high success and low costs. I grew up on a hobby farm (wheat and soybeans) where I was in 4-H and worked with my inventive father to keep the older farm machinery running from year to year. This is where I learned to be creative on not settle for what is standard and normal. I participated in running races, triathlons for many years trying to continually improve each year. I even developed a duathlon race of my own and ran it for 7 years and then handed it off to another friend where he ran it for 8 years until his family grew too large for the extra work required. Continuous improvement has been with me throughout my life. I have extensive experience in product development, launch and testing primarily in the automotive market in vehicle interiors. I have specialty knowledge in sound, lighting and vibration. I have a seat of Solidworks and am designing my own products.
