I develop and implement a general curriculum for spiritual care and recovery for the Gateway and Greenbriar Recovery facilities. I meet individually with patients who are seeking to explore spiritual aspects of recovery during their time in treatment. I facilitate small and large group sessions that focus on topics of spirituality and the 12 steps, surrender vs. compliance, and connecting with a higher power in recovery. I also liaison with churches and other organizations to promote a better understanding of spirituality and recovery and develop resources for those recovering from substance use disorders. My current position requires weekly participation in clinical meetings to discuss client case challenges and strategies. I have honed my skills at establishing rapport with our clients that builds trust to suggest and facilitate changes necessary to growth and spiritual transformation. I am also an experienced Professional with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Skilled in Teaching, Management, Microsoft Products, Pastoral Theology, Library Research, with a background in Engineering. Strong community and social services professional with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused in Spirituality, Theology, and Psychology from Dublin City University through All Hallows College.
