About Ralph Weinmann

Ralph has joined Bosch in 2005 in engineering of passive safety products and later managed projects in the area of radar based driving assistance functions. Since 2011 he was leading Innovation Projects in the business divisions Automotive Electronics and Chassis Systems Control. Main focus were innovation project in the domain EE-architecture and Automated Driving. As a local Innovation Manager for in China he enabled local innovation for Asia Pacific. Since 2022 he joined the development team for Bosch Leonberg and provides System & SW development to enable high performant video perception in new video based products. Holds a diploma -Dipl-Ing.(FH)- in Mechatronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of applied Science Esslingen and is a certified Project Manager for classic or agile project approaches (PMI PMP, SAFe SA/POPM/SSM & Bosch certification). Has a cross-disciplinary mindset, and sees the connections with adjacent systems. Creates structures and understandable standards even in complex context. In his international environment of family and work he preserves to be Schwabe@Bosch. Speaks 4 languages, that cover in total more than 100 countries, organized 5 TEDxStuttgart conferences lived with his wife and son almost 6 years in in Suzhou / China, and in 3 other countries on 3 continents, worked in 7 different different Bosch Business divisions, in 6 locations on 2 continents, has visited 72 countries that reflects ~30% of the world is inventor and holds several patents, likes to search geocaches, to do Judo, Climbing and other sports Delighted in technology and innovation - your partner for innovation
