Rama’s career spans over more than 23 years of work experience in Civil and Structural Engineering Design related to commercial and industrial buildings and onshore and offshore structures The objectives: •To gain experience in Structural/Civil Engineering Design for onshore and offshore •To gain site experience in various construction techniques •To develop and familiarise myself with project engineering and project management Career Highlights KBR – – Gorgon – Client Chevron – July 2010 to Present Rama is lead area structural engineer. His responsibilities to handle area from transition, engineering calculation, model review and incorporate comment. KBR - – Barwon Water Treatment Rama was part of the structural design team. The scope was to design the pumphouse station of the concrete, steel and precast structures. KBR - – Lampunut Project – Client PT Billiton Indonesia Rama was part of the structural design team. The scope comprised new maritime infrastructure ranging from wharves, berthing dolpins and gangways. KBR - – Koniambo Navigation Aids – KBR Brisbane Rama was part of the structural design team responsible to design the navigation aids tower. KBR - – RGP5 – Client BHP Billiton Iron Ore Rama was part of the structural design team. The project was estimated to be manhours. The scope included non-process iron ore infrastructure and facilities. KBR –Port Antonio Wastewater project (Jamaica)- KBR Sydney Rama was part of the structural design team responsible to design and document water/wastewater retaining structures and other relevant industrial facilities. Rama gained experience using standard KBR design tools and spreadsheets. KBR -Southern Regional Water Pipeline - Rama was part of the structural design team responsible to design and document for the pumphouse for concrete, steel and masonry structure base on Australian standard.
