Now, I’m ready to lead—not just code—by driving engineering culture, team performance, and scalable innovation. Hi, my name is Ramakrishna MV. I am a Senior Software Engineer with over 24 years of experience in embedded software development, spanning Android frameworks, firmware programming, and automotive infotainment systems. I am now focused on transitioning into an Engineering Manager role, where I can lead cross-functional teams and deliver technology that scales. As a results-oriented and hands-on software professional, I bring deep expertise across the entire SDLC—from bare-metal firmware and RTOS-based development to Linux drivers, HAL, Android middleware, and applications. With extensive experience across automotive OEMs, multimedia, semiconductor, and telecom domains, I’ve led the delivery of production-grade solutions for voice assistant integration (Alexa), cybersecurity enhancements, OTA capabilities, and infotainment system stability. Currently, I serve as a Senior Software Engineer at General Motors, driving the development and integration of Android framework and app components for cutting-edge in-vehicle infotainment platforms. Previously: At Intel, I led multisite integration of speech/audio pipelines on Atom-based SoCs for embedded and automotive markets, ensuring certification and resolving deployment blockers across multiple regions. At Conexant Systems, I worked on audio/speech codec integration and DSP optimization for voice-enabled modems and communication systems. At NXP and STMicroelectronics, I contributed to base station software stacks, set-top box firmware, and system-level optimizations for multimedia SoCs, playing a key role in delivering efficient, real-time embedded solutions for global telecom and consumer electronics products.
