I am an accomplished professional with 17 years of experience in humanitarian, nexus/ development and post-conflict settings in Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Being a Partnership and Project Management Expert, I have an edge in devising and leading programs based on partnerships and local leadership which score best on the program quality index. I manage multi-million euros portfolios and coordinate multicultural teams to deliver high-quality services for the refugee and IDP beneficiaries, particularly women, children, SGBV survivors and the elderly. I am recognized for my team-building skills; through defining and explaining clear milestones, making available the needful tools and resources, and providing an enabling environment. I set up a team that can achieve the set targets more efficiently and timely. I have excellent interpersonal skills, solution-oriented work ethic and hands-on experience in dealing with donors, governments, and INGOs. I have a diversified background of overseeing programs on durable solutions, emergency response and community preparedness, climate and environment, food security, livelihoods, WASH, gender and protection, institutional development and civil sector strengthening, monitoring and evaluation, lobbying, advocacy, networking, and coordination. In my role as Acting Country Lead for Oxfam in Poland recently, in addition to leading the program, I have been overseeing the operations; Admin, Finance, HR, Security and Program Quality. Mission representation with donors, coordination structures, local authorities and other stakeholders were key part of the role. I have devised strategies for different missions, such as Partnership and local leadership strategy for Oxfam in Iraq and in Poland, actively involved in Ukraine response strategy of Oxfam and in country strategy of Iraq. Co-authored Oxfam’s publication ‘The Power of Local Action: LHL learning document’. I am acknowledged for my technical writing including proposals, donor reports, briefing/learning papers, strategies. I have MBA in Project Management, and have completed advanced skills course of partnership brokering from PBA, U.K. I am an accredited trainer of Livestock Emergency Guidelines & Standards, and Sphere standards. I have undergone Violent Environment Preparedness Training (VEPT) in Iraq and Stay Safe course from IFRC. I am passionate to continue leading the humanitarian and nexus programs with a broader scope; to serve more of those in need of support with better humanitarian access, more comprehensive coverage, and better structure and systems.
