About Ramanathan Krishnamoorthy

With 23 years of progressive experience in automotive engineering, I specialize in leading cross-functional teams and driving end-to-end vehicle development programs independently, from concept to launch. My career includes over 15 years of focused expertise in electric vehicle (EV) design for passenger car systems, with a deep understanding of full vehicle integration and system maturity. I have successfully created and scaled vehicle platforms, with in-depth knowledge of modular architecture across multiple configurations—including ICE and electric propulsion. My core strengths include defining and delivering on technical scope, aligning with design-to-cost targets, and implementing critical product development methodologies such as DFM, DFA, APQP, FMEA, QCDP, and DVP. Known for my structured mentoring approach, I foster consistent engineering excellence across teams. I lead cross-functional validation of automotive systems and components, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability for both new platform deployments and legacy enhancements.
