A career development banker, I superannuated from SIDBI after 38 years of service. I worked extensively in promotion, development and financing of MSMEs across various geographies/ clusters. Worked with various stake holders such as Governments, RBI, Banks, SFCs, industry chambers, multilateral institutions. I was Advisor SIDBI for a brief period post-retirement. Strategic Adviser to Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd for two years. TIIC business scaled 4x times in two years. Evolved and operationalized a start up debt funding scheme for Indian Bank and was on the sanction recommendation committee. Was part of team that undertook creating a report on the landscape of credit guarantee, two step loan and venture capital in ASEAN countries. The assignment also included training stakeholders. Have been supporting and guiding NGOs engaged in job creation, entrepreneurship development. Took up Sessions on MSME financing for various organizations. Mentoring a few micro enterprises on pro bono basis. Currently, Sr Advisor at GAME focused on access to finance for micro and small enterprises, interacting with government departments, industry associations, SIDBI, banks NBFCs. Financial expert at Technology Development Board GOI. Accessing the viability of technology projects for funding.
