About Ramesh Ramakrishnan

Having been in the industry for slightly over two decades, I love taking up challenges and continue to approach them with a solutions-oriented mindset. The intent is to drive service excellence, making a dent in the marketing universe, and delivering compelling campaigns and solutions for my clients and stakeholders. Most of my work has been in the space of IT, ITES and professional services organizations, and largely in the areas of Communications, Digital Marketing, Client Service and Crisis Management among others. My portfolio of activities has included end-to-end brand management and communications strategies for firms globally, along with focused sales enablement through digital marketing and conventional marketing channels, marketing automation, crisis management and event management for India, ANZ, MEA and US regions. In my current role, I serve as the US India leader for the Green Dot Agency (GDA)- a full-service in-house marketing agency - covering Communications, Creative CoE, and Strategy. Along with the team, I help differentiate the Deloitte brand, drive our business priorities forward, innovate new marketing solutions, and deliver distinct client experiences. Together, we develop cutting-edge marketing plans, creative assets, and unique experiences that engage our clients and deliver on the strategy of our businesses in the marketplace. I also lead on crisis communications, and supports BCP. Prior to Deloitte, I've worked with several multinationals including KPIT, Tech Mahindra and Hitachi, where I focused on developing and executing integrated global marketing programs, managed marketing services and communications teams to support various departments ranging from HR, sales and delivery in their initiatives, and managed media and analyst relations. With my roots from the Armed Forces, I bring a strong and compelling work ethic, and a love for travel and exploration. An avid outdoors person, I enjoy travelling, trekking and outbound experiences. When not at work, I'm probably taking in the sights and sounds on one of my travels, or spending time with my family. I love to dabble with technology, and most recently, I've been hooked onto 3D-Printing.
