I hate BUGS!...I mean any form of defects in any product and I am conscious of the Price of Non Conformance (PONC)! I started my career as an Administration Staff and little did I realize that my OCD will land me into a Quality Assurance. You bet - Am I glad that I chose this career. I am delighted and happy with the choices that I made the products that I launched and the excitement I experienced through excellent feedback from our learner customers and internal stakeholders. This is what defines me: • A Lean Six Sigma certified and Six Sigma - Green Belt trained professional with over 27 years of experience in IT. eLearning and publishing industries with a significant experience in product development & delivery release management configuration management test process improvement and metrics. • An assertive manager with abilities in performing a wide range of people management function-from recruiting through on-boarding goal setting performance appraisal training competency building resource utilization & capacity planning and so on. My journey into the world of Quality Assurance has helped me build the following expertise: • Providing strong leadership and capability to lead and manage teams with distributed skill sets proven capabilities in resource allocation and mobilization. • Applying my in-depth knowledge of test methodologies various levels of testing testability analysis & requirements definition test analysis & design techniques and documentation. • Leveraging Process modelling skills to build compliance with the specified standards performing root-cause analysis to institutionalize preventive actions; competencies in creating test strategies cases and plans • Building test progress reports project health check reports and ensuring proper requirements analysis and project documentation. Here are some of my proud achievements: • Successful implementation of test methodologies during the entire product DLC for print and digital educational products. Some of the popular titles includes The Grammarite The English Channel Know for Sure (by famous quiz master Mr Sidhartha Basu) and ScienceSpark (by famous Indian cricketer Mr Kris Srikanth). • Ensuring customer requirements by implementing quality tools and test methodologies in content development projects for global customers like ITT EDMC Shell Dell World Bank and Skillsoft. • Designing and implementing appropriate quality checks for overall training delivery of training services (KPO/BPO) for customers like Nokia Siemens and RedHat.
