Colonel (Retired) Ramey L. Wilson serves a Hospitalist Physician and Senior Advisor on Knowledge Management at the Uniformed Services University's Center for Global Health Engagement, is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University, and has an active clinical practice as a hospitalist. Dr. Wilson retired from the U.S. Army after 28 years of active duty service in 2022, where he served in a wide range of clinical, academic and operational medicine roles with conventional and special operations units. Dr. Wilson's particular area of interest/research includes knowledge management, medical care assessments, medical interoperability, global health engagement, medical education, and expeditionary care. He has three combat deployments, totaling 30 months in Afghanistan and served as a flight and dive medicine physician. In addition, Dr. Wilson is board certified in Internal Medicine, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and serves as an Editor of Military Medicine, the peer-reviewed, international medical journal of AMSUS and federal medicine.
