About Rami Daya

I am a passionate Medical Devices professional with a particular interest in Training and Education. I hold the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification for Cardiac Electrophysiology (CEPS). I am also industry certified for Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiac Rhythm Management. I have worked in a variety of functions starting as a CRM Sales and Marketing Product Specialist with Medtronic distributor in Riydh, KSA. Two years later I moved to a new role as AF Field Technical Engineer at St. Jude Medical, providing Electrophysiology Clinical Support across 15 countries in the Middle East. Within two years of starting with SJM, I moved internally to an education role as an Electrophysiology Trainer at St. Jude Medical's Headquarters in Brussels covering Educational programs in EMEA and Western Europe for one year and a half. Then I accepted the role of AF/CRM Education Manager at Abbott - formerly St. Jude Medical - responsible for customer and employee educational programs across Middle East & Africa, where I stayed from 2016 till 2019. As of October 2019, I am the Rhythm Management Training & Education Manager at Boston Scientific, covering Growth Emerging Markets region which is comprised of Middle East & Africa, Russia, Turkey, and South Eastern Europe.I completed both my graduate and undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut. I hold a Masters Degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Health Management and Policy. This gave me a deep understanding of the complexity of healthcare systems and how they work. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, which gave me a strong clinical background - a must in our domain.
