About Ramon Bastida

I’m Associate Professor at the Department of Finance and Control at Pompeu Fabra University - Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM). I’m also Adjunct Professor at the Department of Business and Economics at UPF. I taught as a guest professor at Toulouse Business School or HEC Liège Management School, among other international universities and business schools. I teach in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, and in tailored and executive education programs. My teaching areas include financial accounting, management accounting (costing & budgeting), financial statement analysis, financial and sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, or social impact measurement and valuation, among others. My research interests focus on sustainability, ESG reporting, and the integration of social and environmental dimensions into organizational practices. Key areas of expertise include: ESG reporting and accountability, Social impact measurement and management, and Sustainability practices and organizational performance. My academic research has been published in international indexed journals. I also participate actively in international research projects and academic conferences. Currently, I hold the Metropolitan House Foundation Chair of Affordable and Sustainable Housing, and I’m the Director of the International Full Time MBA at UPF-BSM.
