About Ramon Bertolini

I have been working in the financial industry since my internship, gathering knowledge in different kinds of products, nowadays more focused on the structured credit area. Initiated as an intern in Bank of Brazil and decided to switch to the private sector. So, my first job was as a trainee in BTG Pactual, the greatest investment bank in Latin America. Having finished my passage through BTG I started working directly in the investment funds industry, more specifically the securitization one (FIDC in Brazil). My first step was in Pravaler S.A, former Ideal Invest S.A, the greatest manager of private credit in Brazil for higher education students, which was crucial to making my mind about becoming a portfolio manager. To become one in CVM, the Brazilian SEC, in addition to my background, I had to succeed in the CGA test, which enabled me to become manager and controller of the FIDC at Kobold Gestora de Fundos Ltda, also responsible for the financial sector of the company (accounting, treasury, accounts payable and receivable). Currently, I am part of the team who is responsible for the relationship among financial institutions and asset managers at Stone Instituição de Pagamento S.A, whose focus is on fund raising and structuring. Last but not least, I am a CFA Level candidate.
