Ramon completed the Association of Schools of Public Health/CDC Public Health Preparedness Fellowship at the Georgia Department of Public Health in 2006 where he led public health and preparedness training across the state. Ramon was Project Coordinator, and later Deputy Director, of the Mid-America Regional Public Health Leadership Institute (MARPHLI).
