About Ramon Silva

Hi, I'm Ramon, a software engineer with 6 years of professional experience. I enjoy learning new things and tackling technical challenges, especially on the backend! My journey began with programming in C and C++ for computer science competitions such as Codeforces and ACM ICPC, acquiring skills in mathematics, classical computer science algorithms, quick thinking to implement efficient solutions under time pressure, the ability to debug, and awareness of scalability and performance.I've been working mostly with full-stack web development, initially with Rails, and more recently in JavaScript stacks (TypeScript, React, Node, Nest). Beyond web development, I'm a Rust enthusiast, appreciating its focus on performance and safety. Despite my front-end experience, I'm most fond of providing value by optimizing processes. If you have any challenging opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach out.
