I have been in communications for 30+ years – reporting and editing for three large daily newspapers; serving as a media spokesperson for an international pharmaceutical company; directing communications for the nation’s top-ranked public school of public health; and leading communications to more than certified pediatricians. Over the years, I have worked with CEOs, scientists, psychometricians, physicians, donors, politicians, home builders, farmers, accountants, and many more. The common thread in all this experience is understanding the art of getting important messages across to specific audiences. I can work with clients to write and deliver messages, and I can help the client deliver messages themselves more clearly and effectively. In a crisis, I know how to help everyone stay calm and focused on what messages and actions can do the most good, or at least help mitigate the damage.
