About Ramont Silver

I am currently a student at the University of Missouri - St. Louis, where I am currently majoring in Business Administration, pursuing a post-baccalaureate in Accounting accompanied by minors in Finance as well as Information Systems and Technology. I particularly enjoy majoring in Business Administration because it provides me the opportunity to obtain a diverse set of information concerning business activities. While I attend school full-time, I also have two jobs that I am working at as well. Those two jobs include my position as a Bookstore Manager at Saint Louis Community College (STLCC) and my position as a part-time Tax Associate at Conner Ash P.C. At STLCC I am responsible for a wide variety of things, which include assisting students, daily store operations, and training new staff. Then as a tax associate I am responsible for preparing tax returns and collaborating with other staff. Throughout my work and school experience, I have developed skills such as leadership, customer service and management, communication, and critical thinking. In addition to my work and school responsibilities, I am a part of the University of Missouri - St. Louis' accounting club and honor society. I enjoy being a part of these because not only do I get to network with other students and faculty, I get to use this as a stress-relief time. In my spare time from the above, I mainly enjoy listening to music, playing music reading, and socializing with friends/family.
