About Ramsey Hass

The pursuit of knowledge is more valuable than its possession” Albert Einstein. This quote has changed my life since I discovered it as a boy in middle school. Since, my way of thinking has been morphed into a thirst for knowledge that I hope is never quenched. That famous line by Einstein has delved me into subjects that I would not have typically seen myself in, such as learning the intricacies of freshwater ecosystems to the physics of an acoustic guitar. My quest does not simply stop by gaining knowledge but I also enjoy spreading that knowledge. That is why I have coached baseball teams, served my community in two different service organizations with over 250 hours of community service, and participated in Alpha Phi Omega’s national leadership program of LEAD’S. I grew up in a rural outdoor area where my adventures and pursuit to uncover my unknown surroundings will never be taken for granted. Through my experiences and influences I have fortunately found my calling in the study of Biology and I am glad that it will be tied in with me for the rest of my life.
