About Ramsey Raslan

Driven to work on issues that deal with deforestation and the loss of biodiversity in both our oceans and forests, globally. RESEARCH & WRITING With a research background at the graduate level, in both the environmental and labor fields, I aspire to utilize these involvements in gaining future experience with environmental field research. Additionally, with an undergraduate background in economics and a graduate emphasis on writing environmental policy memos, creating policy recommendations in the environmental sector, and conducting climate risk assessments, I hope to impact sustainable environmental policy solutions. COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP An aspect behind my leadership experience includes contacting and interviewing Wildlife Control Operators in Washington State who focus on beaver trapping, as part of my graduate capstone:"Recommendations for Washington State Beaver Management". SKILLS: Writing, research, decision modeling (Excel), proficient in Microsoft Office, conversational Arabic, volunteering, leadership.
