About Ramy Aly

With the end of my Bachelor of Commerce coming near, my hunger for knowledge and experience has still not been quenched. I hope to experience and learn as much as I can to eventually accomplish my goal of wanting to be an insurance underwriter. A dream brought on by my wonderful time as a Risk Management and Insurance (RMIN) student at the University of Calgary. I want to help people and organizations grow and stay safe and protected. For the past few years I've been dedicated to my job as a math and English tutor has taught so much! It has strengthened my communication skills, being able to explain all different types of math concepts in a digestible and engaging manner as well as communicating effectively and respectfully with students' parents. This job has also influenced my organizational skills, organizing files and tracking student progress for efficient student planning and file access. My experience continues to be enlightening and I hope to bring these skills that I've cultivated as a tutor into my professional career. When I'm not working or studying, I do my best to stay active going to the gym and hiking or just spending time with friends and family. I look forward to connecting with and getting to know as many people as possible!
