About Ramya Thomas

With over seven years of experience in supply chain management, I am passionate about delivering optimal solutions for complex and dynamic projects. My core competencies include procurement, inventory management, project coordination, and quality assurance. I am currently a Supply Chain Management Consultant and Team Lead at Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), where I support the daily requirements of all health centers and occasional projects. At PHCC, I am responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, from end-user demand to supply. I monitor and arrive at a reorder point data for items with irregular consumption patterns, maintain tracking sheets for short allocations, and follow up with procurement team for delivery of critical items. I also provide periodic reports and analysis on inventory performance and trends. In addition, I leverage my skills in project management, purchasing, and supply chain operations to develop procurement and inventory management plans for various projects, such as the CAFM Project with Qatar Foundation and the Maximo Integration Project with Gulf Drilling. I have successfully completed these projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
