Randal is a cannabis advocate & enthusiast first and foremost, in 2010 he obtained MMAR licenses and built a small grow-operation holding about 50 plants in total, servicing three licensed patients until 2014. Although no longer on the production side, he is still active in the cannabis industry; currently with Kindred as their Sales Manager (Atlantic Provinces & Manitoba) & National Key Account Manager, and with previous cannabis industry experience as a L&D Manager at Kindred and as a Sales Representative at Great North Distributors. Randal holds over 10 years of professional sales & marketing experience across various industries such as digital media, talent acquisition, event production, food retail/hospitality, and most recently recreational cannabis. Entrepreneurial spirit is another key attribute that Randal possesses, having previously owned and operated two businesses; most recent and notable was his venture in the food industry. He built, owned and operated an award-winning gourmet grilled cheese & mac’n’cheese take-out restaurant called Cut The Cheese which was located in the hip Junction area of Toronto. This business was recognized by BlogTO as having the BEST grilled cheese in Toronto and top 10 mac’n’cheese multiple years in a row, and garnered publicity from high profile media outlets such as CP24, Toronto Life, Toronto Star, NOW Magazine, Huffington Post etc. He also effectively led and mentored a team of up to 10 employees, fostering their growth while driving revenue.
