Currently a Captain on the EMB-175 at Envoy Air (American Eagle) based at DFW. My goals are to safely operate the Embraer Regional Jet as a Captain and to eventually work for a major airline. Recently received a Bachelors of Arts in History at the University of North Texas and anticipate returning to school to pursue a teaching certificate or a Master’s degree in History. Retired Army aviator with multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as a Tactical Operations Officer, Air Mission Commander, and Instructor Pilot. Skilled in Intelligence Analysis, Military Aviation, Combat, Counterinsurgency, and Operational Planning. Well versed in Joint and Multinational military operations with experience as an Observer Coach Trainer (OCT) at the Joint Multinational Training Center, USAG Bavaria, Germany. As a writer of military doctrine at the Service, Joint, and Multinational levels, I worked closely with other subject matter experts in the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and defense industry to produce doctrinal publications on airspace command and control, Joint fires, personnel recovery, and aviation operations. As a small unmanned aircraft systems (SUAS) Master Trainer, I trained Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines to maintain and operate their equipment safely and effectively in busy airspace in close proximity to manned aircraft and fires in a simulated combat environment.
