About Randall Foret

I am an entrepreneurial, goal-oriented problem solver and strategic legal advisor to companies that operate in the blockchain, renewable energy and oil & gas industries. My significant litigation experience in those industries as well as the maritime and financial services industries, has provided me with a keen insight into risk management. My recent in-house experience has allowed me to apply that insight to the real world problems facing a rapidly expanding technology startup. I am also a co-founder and member of Foret Plasma Labs, LLC. The company, also known as PlasmaWhirl, has been issued over 125 world wide patents for developing an efficient and cost effective means to couple water treatment, steam generation and gasification / thermal oxidation into one processing unit. Prior to attending law school, I worked as a drilling fluids engineer on a variety of drilling vessels and platforms located in the California Santa Barbara Channel and the Gulf of Mexico. My "hands-on" experience in both the traditional energy industry and the renewable energy industry has provided me with an appreciation for the difficult work that founders experience in order to make a company successful.When my schedule provides me with a few spare minutes, my wife and I spend that precious time training our 3 dogs to compete in agility trials throughout the country. Paris, my Border Collie mix, and I recently won the 3 major events (West Coast Stakes, Pentathlon and Masters Series) at the UKI West Coast Open in Paso Robles, California.
