Background
About Randall Shaw
Randall Shaw is the Co-founder of Vision Integrated Partners (VIP) which was formed in April 2018. He raised financing to acquire 5 ophthalmology practices in two states and formed an MSO to support the practices. From that point forward, VIP has grown through his leadership to over $200 million in revenues with 23 practices and 13 ASCs in 6 states. He is part of the senior management team as Chief of Strategy and serves as de facto general counsel. His primary roles are sourcing and structuring acquisitions of new practices, leading due diligence and contract negotiations, working daily with regional operational teams to measure performance and solve problems, and interfacing regularly with its lenders and equity partners regarding capital needs. In his former career, he was a corporate finance investment banker on Wall Street for a dozen years specializing in the health care services sector, private equity coverage and leveraged finance. Prior to that experience, he was an attorney at a corporate law firm, Greenberg Traurig in Miami. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with the academic distinction of Beta Gamma Sigma, a JD from the Univ. of Florida where he graduated with Honors, and a BSE from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida. In 2012, his law review article was published in the Norton Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law entitled LBO Jeopardy: The Challenge to Failed LBOs? Caselaw interpreting “unreasonably small capital” in the context of “constructive” fraud avoidance claims.
