As an experienced accountant with a passion for accuracy and efficiency, I have built my career working across both non-profit and for-profit sectors. My journey has been fueled by a commitment to optimizing financial processes, particularly in accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Currently, I serve as the Financial Controller at CFC Farm & Home, where I handle budgeting, forecasting, bank and general ledger reconciliations, and so much more. I am also the part-time Business Manager at Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad, where I manage everything from bill processing to fund drives, ensuring smooth financial operations for a life-saving organization. What sets me apart is my ability to blend hands-on experience with ongoing education. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Data Analytics at Liberty University (expected graduation May 2025), where I am deepening my understanding of financial analytics, data-driven decision-making, and accounting technologies. In addition to my technical skills, I have a proven track record of training new hires, streamlining workflows, and leveraging tools like Microsoft Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks and Great Plains to improve efficiency.
