About Randi Nees

I am an experienced professional, who is flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities at the same time. With my present employer, I have gained a reputation for great service and natural leadership ability. I enjoy working with diverse groups of people while attempting to achieve a common goal, and find that those initiatives highlight my key strengths such as interpersonal relationships, communication skills and attention to detail. For the past four years, I have been working in the arena of Population Health and preventative practices. The projects that I have managed have been geared toward improving health outcomes via preventive health in large populations. Within these programs, the groups have improved screening rates for colorectal cancer and breast cancer by more than 50%. In addition, our department works diligently to improve outcomes for patients with diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and other chronic diseases. Currently I work with Arkansas Children’s providers, frontline staff, administration and quality/process improvement departments on hospital acquired condition (HAC) workgroups and facilitate project developments. This includes work with our EHR system, Epic, work on identifying crossover between the groups, helping to define key processes and clarify current practices, as well as implementing new data collection process to comply with required and voluntary governing bodies (such as JCAHO and SPS). One of my strongest attributes is my self-motivation, which allows me to perform well under pressure and against aggressive deadlines. Being a highly analytical thinker, I am able to quickly identify, scrutinize, improve, and streamline complex work processes. This is a skill that has been developed and enhanced through time and learning within the Lean/6 Sigma framework. My resume highlights my background to date reflects my planning capabilities.
