Hard working, dedicated, focused. Always learning about my field. After spending most of my working life around and operating heavy equipment, I moved into a trade I knew very little about. Welding was something i knew immediately I was destined to pursue. After working in a structural welding shop as a CWB welder I decided to go to school and get my journeyman. Along with my jman ticket, I acquired my red seal as well. After leaving school I moved provinces and went back to civil construction while I looked for a permanent welding job. I knew after my first week exactly what I wanted to do with my knowledge of welding and heavy equipment. I am not just heavy equipment repair, but I also fully understand the function and work load that is put on the equipment. I see my repairs from an operator’s perspective, because I’ve been one. I have plenty of experience in civil construction/ oil and gas/ heavy equipment/ and welding including -laying underground utilities (6yrs)- laying water main (6yrs )- shooting grades and reading plans and blue prints (11yrs)-operating articulating rock truck and roller/packer (8yrs)-operating D6 Dozer with Trimble and GPS as well as manually (4 yrs)- operating skid steer (6 yrs)- operating 988k wheel loader (2yrs)- operating excavators (2yrs)- earthworks operations (13yrs)- CWB fluxcore (3yrs)- CWB SMAW (2yrs)- Red Seal Welder -supervising rebuild, inspection, and pressure test (up to of fracking iron (2yrs) I have been around the industry from a very young age and love what I do. I believe my passion, attention to detail and attitude on the job site reflect my work ethic very well. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow in the construction industry. I love to work and can keep a positive energy amongst the crew.
