About Rando Wick

For over 35 years I have practiced law focusing on the defense of cases with complex medical issues, often defending health care providers. I worked previously as an EMT first as a firefighter then for Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington. I also proudly served in the United States Air Force. These jobs were before going to law school at the University of Washington. After law school I have had additional training at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Medical Ethics, then in mediation at Northwestern University in Chicago. In addition to defending medical malpractice cases, I have also pursued products liability cases in a plaintiff role for defective medical devices and have mediated cases in areas with complex medical issues. I have been honored to be selected through peer vetted organizations and am a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and was selected as trial lawyer of the year in 2022 as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. I pride myself in attempting to evaluate a case early in the process, recommend which cases should be resolved early, obtain dismissal of frivolous cases and take cases to a jury trial that need to be tried. I also enjoy mediating cases that involve challenging medical issues.
