Over the past 9 years, I have immersed myself in the dynamic world of Human Resources, gaining valuable experience across diverse industries, including construction, banking and finance, merchandising, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and employer of records services. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege to engage in various HR facets, ranging from Compensation and Benefits Administration to Timekeeping and Payroll Management, Recruitment and Talent Development, Employee Experience, Employee Relations, Welfare and Discipline, Regulatory Compliance, and Business Process Development. Currently, I serve as a Payroll, People, and Culture Specialist for an innovative Employer of Records company based in the Philippines. My role is deeply fulfilling, allowing me to collaborate with individuals across the nation and extend support to clients globally. A particularly gratifying aspect of my current position is its fully remote nature, affording me the freedom I longed for since I began my career in 2013. Embracing this newfound freedom, I cherish the opportunity to give back to my country and community while advocating for Filipino talents and elevating the remote working industry in the Philippines. Beyond my passion for Human Resources, I indulge in creative pursuits such as video editing and photography. Presently, I'm diligently building my personal brand, managing social media pages for "Kwento Ni Juancho," which focuses on local travels, encounters, and cuisine, and "That HR Guy," delving into professional HR insights, lifestyle, personal finance, self-development, and office humor. My aspirations lead me towards establishing a Digital Video Production and Creative Agency in the future. This phase of my life aligns with a semi-digital nomadic lifestyle, enabling me to work flexibly from anywhere with access to electricity and internet connectivity. The freedom I've gained allows me to prioritize cherished moments with family and friends, while also exploring pursuits I previously yearned to engage in. Every day, I am dedicated to enhancing both my personal and professional growth, and I strive to inspire my colleagues and audiences to embrace life with wider smiles, happier hearts, and unwavering passion.
