Currently serving as Director for processes of review and accreditation of teacher preparation programs. This is a data management, team/program leader, standards-driven, and task-oriented (federal, state, and agency reporting) position. 2024 marks the fourth year in this role. Prior service includes 17 years teaching high school Spanish and World Cultures, 4 years as English Language Learner advocate and instructor, and 2 years as K-5 technology teacher. Before discovering teaching as a career, I worked as an education project manager (fiscal, physical, project and human resources) in International Development, for Save The Children (USA), in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Cambodia. Some highlights include, successfully delivered workshops and classes to adults for Data Management, Continuous Improvement, Education Technology, Global Competency, World Languages Teaching Methods. International Experience includes 4 years living/working abroad, 2 university study-abroad programs; and 12 international student trips and exchanges. I initiated a Global Nomads Group cultural exchange programs for high school students, and facilitated a Hanban Chinese Guest Teacher Program. I have advanced proficiency with Spanish, Intermediate with Italian, and Novice with French. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, and the KY & MD National Guards; MOS 75B, Personnel/Human Resources Manager.
