Background
About Randy Brown
I have over 25 years of experience as a web and IT professional. Currently, I lead a team of web professionals at Michigan State University. I find the constant challenge in the ever-changing web field invigorating. I enjoy tackling challenges and solving puzzles that most people think can’t be resolved. Collaborating with non-technical and business partners to bring their ideas to life and improve business efficiency is something I love. As a manager of a team of talented web professionals, I find it fulfilling to push them to achieve success they didn’t think was possible. I have a talent for identifying the blind spots of staff members while also recognizing the genius within each person. I’ve managed staff members at all levels of technical ability and learned that they all want to do good work, which I can maximize through clear communication, goal setting, structure, and motivation. In conclusion, I’m forward-thinking, collaborative, and motivated to develop and implement solutions that elevate businesses while cultivating and inspiring staff to achieve their best.
