About Randy Fishman

After thirty-five years in the practice of general dentistry, Dr. Fishman sold his practice in Taylor, MI in November of 2012. Dr. Fishman has decided to pursue his special interest and passion in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine. In January of 2013 he opened a new office in the Bright Side Dental Building in Southfield, MI exclusively for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing. He currently works out of the his own sleep office in Bloomfield Hills and the Livonia Bright Side Dental location. He focuses on oral appliance treatment for snoring, upper airway resistance syndrome, and mild and moderate obstructive sleep apnea. He also treats patients with more severe obstructive sleep apnea who do not respond to, are not appropriate candidates for, or who fail treatment attempts with CPAP.Dr. Fishman is board certified in Dental Sleep Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep and Breathing. He is also a member of the American Academy of Sleep and Breathing and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and has had advanced training in dental sleep medicine and oral appliance therapy. He has over ten years experience in this specialized area. He works with sleep physicians, pulmonologists, ENT's, neurologists and sleep laboratories for a team approach of treatment.
