Randy has over 12 years of immersive industry experience with a variety of crewed submersibles - performing complex maintenance procedures to ABS classifications, HOV systems design and re-fits, development of pilot-training programs, and enabling submersible operations from a variety of platforms. Combined with demonstrable experience in manufacturing, maritime, instruction, design, technical writing, and customer service, Randy brings an efficient and highly adaptable skill set to meet a variety of mission objectives. Worldwide submersible operations experience includes ship-based boom crane and A-frames, towing, submersible LARS platforms, and crew transfer methods; while executing missions in low-visibility (instrument navigation), structures and shipwrecks, wall and geologic formations, scientific data collection and surveys, sampling, and equipment recovery operations.
