About Randy Leipnik

I love to teach music. Really, it’s all I’ve ever done. Despite a few different titles in 30 years of media production, all I do is make people’s stuff better. I'm a media production guy, music teacher and professional musician in the Detroit area. I help people have fun with music and I use media to help businesses to tell their story. Convinced there was a better way to enjoy music, I developed THE SEMPER METHOD. It helps people express themselves and play music by ear in just 6 Modules. We distill the best of a few centuries of music instruction into just a few words: Listen. Sing. Clap. Play. Read. Write. As a producer, my passion lies in creating music, sound and images and using them to tell a story. My company has built a powerful network of creative talent covering a wide range of professional services that do just that. I oversee preproduction, creative, shooting and editing all forms of video, recording of original music and spoken word as well as audio post, sound design, graphic design and audio for online training programs. We supply services across the country from local projects to most major networks. Our client list is my report card and you may view it at I like to kayak and snow ski and I fish using one hook with a flattened barb. I videotape birds and other creatures in the wild and I get a kick out of their behavior. My wife Beth and I perform jazz standards with some fine musicians from the Metro Detroit area and we'd be delighted to enhance one of your family parties with our music.
