About Randy Nelson

I've been in the construction business for almost 40 years. I started as a wee lad of 13 working as a laborer on my father's construction sites. Eventually I chose a trade (painting) and ran with it. I've been artistic from a young age and over the years I've added many items to my skill set. I'm a painter (as in house), I'm a painter (as in artist). I've sold my watercolors in galleries in Jerome and Sedona. When the faux finishing craze was about I added that to my repertoire. I finished a sq. ft. home in Ancala with differing custom finishes of my creation. Currently I'm focusing on custom cabinet refinishing and re-facing. I was taught the cabinet business by my great uncle who was not only a fantastic craftsman but a mentor and hero to me. I don't have much time any more for my artwork but I found that my cabinet refinishing fulfilled some of same needs I had that my artwork had. I'm blessed that I wake up every morning looking forward to working. I truly enjoy what I do for a living. I have a small but amazing crew that will accept nothing but perfection.
