About Randy Pettigrew

As a strategic, operational leader in the supply chain and logistics sector, I have over 20 years of experience driving results through a unique hands-on approach while still allowing my employees the autonomy they deserve. I’ve led various organizations across multiple industries, including automotive logistics, telecommunications, medical device, rail manufacturing, beverage and more to growth, efficiency, and excellence by asking the right questions and zeroing in on the root cause of a challenging situation. As an MBA Honors graduate from Temple University, I am also a member of the Global Quality Advisory Council, a select group of industry thought leaders. My passion lies in creating scalable organizations where each team member can be successful, regardless of their position or role with the company. I believe a company’s greatest asset is their employees and if you take care of them, they will take care of you. Having lived and worked in different countries and with different cultures, I know first-hand that bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the table provides leverage to create a winning formula. Most recently, in my role as Chief Operating Officer at BLG Logistics, Inc, I created strategy and actionable plans that standardized processes across the enterprise and aligned with the CEO’s vision. The hard work of steering a multi-facility 3PL paid off in the satisfaction of realizing scalable, repeatable systems and operations that position the company for growth in a highly technical logistics environment. I leveraged my skills in collaboration and people management, process improvement, operations management, and operational excellence to optimize the performance and profitability of the company. Building strong relationships both internally and externally, I developed and implemented innovative solutions to address the complex challenges and opportunities in the automotive logistics sector.
