With a strong academic background including a B.A. in Political Science (Suma Cum Laude, 2015) and an M.P.A.(Suma Cum Laude, 2016), I bring a depth of knowledge and expertise to my role as Village Administrator for the Village of Botkins. Economic Development: In my tenure since 2017, I've managed significant economic development initiatives, overseeing the remarkable growth of the Industrial Park. Through strategic planning and collaboration, we've developed over 80% of the industrial park's space, attracting new businesses to our community while facilitating the expansion of existing ones. My extensive understanding of Ohio's tax incentives has been instrumental in promoting this growth, enabling businesses to thrive and contribute to our local economy. Project Management: In my role, I've led numerous projects from conception to completion, ensuring their successful execution and delivery. This includes overseeing street reconstruction projects, where I've collaborated closely with stakeholders and contractors to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. By employing effective project management methodologies, such as milestone tracking, I've navigated complex challenges and delivered results that enhance our community's infrastructure and quality of life. Capital Planning: As part of my responsibilities, I've been instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive capital plans that align with our community's long-term vision and strategic goals. Through meticulous analysis and prioritization, I've identified key infrastructure needs and allocated resources strategically to address them. Leveraging data-driven insights, I've ensured that our capital investments are both fiscally responsible and forward-thinking, laying the groundwork for sustainable growth and development in Botkins. Grantmanship: A key aspect of my role as Village Administrator has been securing and managing grants to support critical projects and initiatives in Botkins. Leveraging my expertise in grant writing and administration, I've successfully secured a multitude of grants from various sources, including State Capital Improvement Grants, Ohio Public Works Commission Grants, and other state and federal programs. These grants have brought in millions of dollars in funding, allowing us to undertake essential infrastructure improvements, community development projects, and economic revitalization efforts. Through meticulous grant management and compliance, I've ensured that these funds are utilized effectively to maximize their impact and benefit to our community.
