My services can be expanded as needed to support almost any piping design milestones. Experienced in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Pulp Paper, and other supporting raw materials facilities. I have a strong history of nearly 40 years of experience in the industry. Leading industrial piping designs for Capital projects located in the North America / Southern Region for BASF Corporate Engineering Services. Monitoring of outside Engineering Partners located in North America and limited involvement in monitoring work sharing partners in India, Germany, and Mexico. Involved in design of new green field chemical process units and existing chemical process unit upgrades. Also completed major capital project piping designs for Motiva Enterprise, Exxon Chemical, Dupont, Dow, and a number of other industries in South Louisiana and Texas areas. Followed many projects to the field and provided design assistance during construction of new units, revamping of existing units and emergency turn-around work. Involved in building early capital project approval packages, estimating, front end, pre-feed, feed engineering, detail design, fabrication support, and construction support. Coordinated 3D laser scanning efforts for several major projects. Served on several committees involved in selection of Global Engineering standards and advanced 3D engineering applications which included travel to Ludwigshafen, Germany to meet with experts from all Global Regions. Specialty design experience in jacket piping, tubed packed piping, ring packed piping, lined piping, high pressure, high temperature, refractory lined, cement lined, HDPE, and specialty alloys. Experienced in monitoring capital projects at Engineering partner offices to ensure design is in compliance with owner's strict standards, guidelines, safety requirements, and providing needed support to keep projects within schedule and cost limitations. Excellent at implementing streamlining work practices. Using Navisworks and LFM laser scan overlays to monitor daily design progress inside PDS and PDMS models during FEL and Detail Design phases. Can provide “proof of concept” studies that minimize costly errors going into detail design phase.
