Resulting in a reduction of sheet breaks on the Machine by 30% and lower maintenance/overtime costs by 40%. • Implemented and led a brownstock washing project that resulted in reduced chemical costs by over $1 million annually. • Executed a maintenance program to ensure the preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment and assets valued at over $500 million. • Investigated and launched an AI (artificial intelligence) tool to reduce digester kappa standard deviation and increase chlorine dioxide efficiency, lowering kappa standard deviation and increasing generator efficiency by approximately $1.7 million annually. • Achieved a streak of over 15 years without a Lost Time Incident (LTI) through implementing a behavior based safety model to over 450 Team Members at the plant site.
