During my nearly 30 years working in the nuclear community, I have 22.5 years as an electrician in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program, 15 months as an Operations Specialist at Fluor Hanford supervising the movement of spent nuclear fuel and 6 years as a Shift Test Engineer helping the navy set plant conditions for heavy maintenance periods. I have extensive experience in training personnel in both the classroom and on the job in areas such as system fundamentals, maintenance procedures, operational procedures and casualty control. While in the navy I qualified Masters Training Specialist at Prototype in NY training hundreds of personnel coming through the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. I also have extensive experience with supervising a watch team during plant operations from a military and civilian perspective, preparing procedures and retest documents for a repair job or modification. I have in-depth experience with trouble shooting electrical circuits with schematic and as well reading schematics for mechanical systems.
