About Randy Steinmeyer

Randy Steinmeyer has spent nearly 30 years working as professional actor and a spokesman. Currently he is in rehearsal for SWEAT, by Lynn Nottage at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. The play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2017. It's directed by Andrea Diamond. Randy is a member in good standing of SAG/AFTRA and the Actor's Equity Association. On stage, he won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor in a Principal Role for his portrayal of Denny Lombardo in A STEADY RAIN by Keith Huff. He's did a season of Shakespeare at American Players followed by the TEMPEST at Missouri Rep in Kansas City. He's performed in theaters around the Chicago area as well as several plays in Milwaukee including the original musical PSYCHADELIC SUNDAE at Milwaukee Rep. written by Jon Tanner and John Leight. Other world premieres include the title role in MCMEEKIN FINDS OUT written by Scott Barsotti, and THE PROPHET OF BISHOP HILL, by David Rush. He's an Artistic Associate with Chicago Dramatists Workshop. He's appeared in the movies THE BABE, PUBLIC ENEMIES, TRANSFORMERS 3 and on TV in THE BEAST, THE UNTOUCHABLES, EARLY EDITION, TURKS, CHICAGO CODE, and the short lived THE PLAYBOY CLUB. He has appeared in 30 some odd commercials including nationals for Stay-Bill Fuel Stabilizer, Grant Thornton Accounting Firm, Fifth Third Bank, Idaho Potatoes, Hardees, Time Warner/Aol, Mrs. Dash, and Johnsonville Brats. He's done several voice overs. As a trade show spokesperson, Randy has worked for several fortune 500 companies including Apple, Microsoft, Intel, 3M, Motorola, Bosch, Toshiba, CA, Phillips, Kodak and Dolby. He has worked for Follett for the past 11 years evangelizing about their Educational Resource Management Suite aptly named Destiny, their incredible collection of digital media, library books and textbooks. Randy is known as energetic speaker, passionate about the products he represents.
