About Rani Race

My sales and marketing position at Trotman Publishing, allows me to work collaboratively with a small team to help our academic books reach the people who need them. My role spans a wide range of projects, allowing me to build skills in digital content creation, data-driven reporting, strategic asset scheduling, client and author relationship building, and developing new processes to improve efficiency. Class I BA (Hons) International Relations graduate, University of Leeds. In 2024, I undertook a 15 week internship for the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Leeds. This role focused on marketing through social media and contributed to improving student engagement within the faculty. I produced and co-hosted a radio show called Ear to the Ground which explored the intersection between artistic practice, artistic objectives, and music. My co-host and I used this show as a platform to encourage interest in the local Leeds art and music scene. We aired on Leeds Student Radio live. During my studies, I was lucky enough to be a student ambassador, and participate with faculty events such as open days and careers talks.
