About Rania Elsayed

Having worked for 14 years with the British Council, I have build a broad experience working at such a reputable organisation. I am currently a member of the regional team and holds the position of the cluster director for East/West cluster Africa leading a diverse team across nine countries setting the strategy for the cluster and drawing on insight to decide on commercial and operational priorities to achieve growth. I have build a solid experience on business development over the years that I am now utilising to lead business development teams across the East/West countries to grow partnerships. In terms of achievements, I led the team to implement our geographical expansion strategy which led to expansion of operations to new cities within East/West Africa and building the network of partners. To ensure that the structure of the team is compatible with the ambitious objectives, I restructured the team adding key resources to respond to business and operational drivers. I am Skilled at negotiating with ministries, universities, and schools to secure partnerships and promote digital learning platforms alongside large-scale assessment solutions. I hold an MBA and a Master degree in educational management from University of London. These qualifications coupled with my experience have helped me excel in current and previous roles.
