Over the past two decades, I’ve led initiatives generating $350M+ in projected value through new businesses, partnerships, and product platforms. I specialize in whitespace discovery and turning early-stage ideas into scalable business platforms. With experience across chemicals, healthcare, energy, and advanced materials, I bring a rare dual-lens as both a corporate leader and startup founder. At SABIC - a top 5 global chemical company with $35B in annual revenue - I built and scaled the global Front-End Innovation system. I shaped 250+ early-stage ideas into 50+ business opportunities and 15 innovation platforms with a combined projected value of $150M+. I’ve evaluated 200+ companies, led 15+ strategic partnerships - including licensing deals, JDAs, JVs, and supplier alliances - and launched two award-winning product platforms that delivered $100M+ in revenue and built a $250M+ growth pipeline. I bring deep experience in whitespace discovery, customer discovery, external innovation, and commercialization. My work spans technology scouting, due diligence, M&A support, and platform development across advanced materials, energy, healthcare, and sustainability. Earlier, I co-founded Y-Carbon, a nanomaterials startup spun out of my Ph.D. research. I raised $6M+, licensed 9 patents, launched 3 products, and led 10+ federal programs (DARPA, DoD, DoE, NSF). Our tech was licensed to a Fortune 500 defense contractor. I thrive in ambiguity - bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex growth initiatives. My dual lens (corporate + startup) helps bridge science, strategy, and scale. Recognized with 20+ awards, including eight SABIC innovation and leadership awards, two R&D 100 Awards, MIT TR35, and Drexel’s Alumni Circle of Distinction.
