I am a patent attorney and partner at K&S partners and based out of the Gurgaon (National Capital Region) office. I have industry experience of 21 years including more than 17 years of experience in IPR, particularly patents. My expertise are in searching, drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications across jurisdictions such as India and its neighbouring countries, United States, Europe, Japan, Korea, China, Australia etc. I primarily handle patent searching drafting and prosecution in the areas of polymer science & technology, textile, nanotechnology, specialty chemicals, packaging, cosmetics, personal and health care, material science, metallurgy, catalysis, oil, gas and petroleum, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, food technology, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals and medical diagnostics. I also have experience in handling pre-grant and post-grant oppositions and represents both multinational and domestic applicants before Indian Patent Office. I assists clients in developing and managing their intellectual property rights Portfolios. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, I worked as a Scientist and an IP-Analyst at GE-GRC, Bangalore. I also worked as a Senior Executive Technologist in new product development and R&D department with Polyplex corporation Ltd. a renowned Indian multinational company in packaging applications. I conduct IPR workshops at various academic institutes and I am a strong believer of innovating, creating, protecting and commercializing IPR.
