Joined the Banking Sector @ State Bank of Mysore (now SBI) in January 2001. Shifted to Canara Bank in Oct 2003 and since then worked at various Branches across India and Abroad. Involved in processing of Credit Notes (including Project Finance) for Corporate Clients during my placement at various Large Corporate Branches of Canara Bank since June 2005 continuously. 4.Prior to my assignment at Head Office between 2019 to 2022, I had a 3 years tenure as (First) CFO at Canara Bank, DIFC Branch Dubai( a wholesale banking branch) between 2016 to 2019. Between 2019 to 2022, I was directly involved in Processing of Credit Notes & placing it before the highest Credit Sanctioning Authority of the Bank at Head Office Level and was Overseeing the Large Corporate Branches of Mumbai. 6.In my Head Office assignment (2019-2022), I was also involved in handling Policy Matters at Apex Level (meant for Large Corporate Clients) and thereby contributing to the Banking Sector through providing Inputs for many Industry Level issues such as Suggestions for Kamath Committee(to assess the impacts and provide the relief on account of Covid-19), Syndicated Loan Arrangement, Change in method of assessment for Working Capital, Repo Linked/ External Benmark Linked ROI etc. In my last assignment( from April 2022 to Mar 2023), I was responsible for handling a Credit Portfolio of more than Rs Crores as Head of Large Corporate Branch at Hyderabad as well as for Business Growth of the Unit. In my present assignment ( since April 2023), I plan, organize, direct and control Credit Portfolio of more than 200 branches from Controlling Office in Mumbai[ which comprises of Large Corporate, Mid Corporate, Retail and Agricultural Branches of Canara Bank] with Portfolio size of more than Rs 1.35 lakhs Crores.
