Hi, I’m Ranojit Giri. I’ve recently completed my MBA in Marketing from IBS Hyderabad (Class of 2025) and have now joined HDFC Bank as a Management Trainee—a role that lets me bring together everything I’ve learned about people, strategy, and decision-making. Before this, I studied Management at St. Xavier’s University, where my interest in consumer behavior really took shape. But it was my internship at Exide Industries that pushed me beyond the classroom. Leading a market study in the VRLA battery segment, I faced real-world challenges—from technical learning curves to survey resistance. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me how structured research, patience, and on-ground hustle can drive real insights. I’ve come to believe that marketing isn’t just about selling—it’s about understanding. And that understanding takes listening, empathy, and a willingness to look deeper than the surface. Off the clock, I’m most alive when I’m on a football field. Sports have taught me teamwork, grit, and how to stay focused when the pressure’s on. I also led my college Table Tennis team as captain—an experience that shaped my leadership style: calm, observant, and always there for the team. Now at HDFC Bank, I’m excited to keep learning, keep growing, and contribute wherever I can—with heart, data, and discipline.
