About Raphael Eschmann

I am a dedicated C# and C++ Software Engineer with 8 years of experience working specifically for internationally recognized flight simulation companies (Simuflight, MPS, and Compass International) since 2017. I have more than 10 years of experience specializing in the aviation field, which includes roles as a cabin crew for South African Airways, earning my private pilot’s license, and immersing myself into the world of flight simulation for over 15 years. My wife is a former airline pilot for South African Airways and together we have traveled all over the world, including living in South Africa, the Netherlands, and now making our permanent home in Switzerland. One of my career highlights was being the lead software engineer for the world’s first Bell fixed-based simulator in South Africa (2017-2019). It was an exciting and challenging role which resulted in the successful launch of this simulator at Henley Air in South Africa in September 2018. During my career as a software engineer specializing in aviation, I have enjoyed many challenges and rewarding opportunities and look forward to working with and contributing to a team in Switzerland.
